Please tell me how the world looks away as if it was nothing. Please tell me how the government of Israel seems to be lulled and dominated into silence and passivity as though someone slapped them with the NonTestament insinuating they need to keep turning the other cheek.
Please tell me how we can endure any more of this butchering of the righteous, while those who highest good is to murder the tzadikim with an axe dance in the streets with evil joy.
I am concerned to see Israeli friends try to normalize this as something that comes and goes with life in Israel.
I am concerned to see people wipe the wine from their lips and say they have done no wrong.
I am concerned that indifference will lead to the death of all that is good and holy.
I cried spontaneously today over and over when I thought of Jerusalem. And I still want to go there and live someday.
