לג (כז) מְעֹנָהֿ֙ אֱלֹ֣הֵי קֶ֔דֶם וּמִתַּ֖חַת זְרֹעֹ֣ת עוֹלָ֑ם וַיְגָ֧רֶשׁ מִפָּנֶ֛יךָ אוֹיֵ֖ב וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַשְׁמֵֽד׃
מְדוֹר אֱלָהָא דִי מִלְּקַדְמִין בְּמֵימְרֵיהּ מִתְעֲבֵד עָלְמָא וְתָרִיךְ מִקֳּדָמָךְ סָנְאָה וַאֲמַר שֵׁצִי:
(כח) וַיִּשְׁכֹּן֩ יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל בֶּ֤טַח בָּדָד֙ עֵ֣ין יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב אֶל־אֶ֖רֶץ דָּגָ֣ן וְתִיר֑וֹשׁ אַף־שָׁמָ֖יו יַ֥עַרְפוּ טָֽל׃
וּשְׁרָא יִשְׂרָאֵל לְרָחְצָן בִּלְחוֹדוֹהִי כְּעֵין בִּרְכְּתָא דִבָרֵכִנּוּן יַעֲקֹב אֲבוּהוֹן לְאַרְעָא עָבְדָא עִבוּר וַחֲמָר אַף שְׁמַיָּא דִעִלָּוֵיהוֹן יְשַׁמְּשֻׁנּוּן בְּטַלָּא:
(כט) אַשְׁרֶ֨יךָ*(בספרי תימן אַשְׁרֶ֨יךָ באל״ף גדולה) יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל מִ֣י כָמ֗וֹךָ עַ֚ם נוֹשַׁ֣ע בַּיהֹוָ֔ה מָגֵ֣ן עֶזְרֶ֔ךָ וַאֲשֶׁר־חֶ֖רֶב גַּאֲוָתֶ֑ךָ וְיִכָּחֲשׁ֤וּ אֹיְבֶ֙יךָ֙ לָ֔ךְ וְאַתָּ֖ה עַל־בָּמוֹתֵ֥ימוֹ תִדְרֹֽךְ׃ {ס}
טוּבָךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵית דִּכְוָתָךְ עַמָּא דְּפֻרְקָנֵיהּ מִן קֳדָם יְיָ תַּקִּיף בְּסַעְדָּךְ וּדְמִן קֳדָמוֹהִי נִצְחָן גִּבַּרְוָתָךְ וִיכַדְּבוּן סָנְאָךְ לָךְ וְאַתְּ עַל פְּרִיקַת צַוְּארֵי מַלְכֵיהוֹן תִּדְרֹךְ:
לד (א) וַיַּ֨עַל מֹשֶׁ֜ה מֵעַרְבֹ֤ת מוֹאָב֙ אֶל־הַ֣ר נְב֔וֹ רֹ֚אשׁ הַפִּסְגָּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֣י יְרֵח֑וֹ וַיַּרְאֵ֨הוּ יְהֹוָ֧ה אֶת־כׇּל־הָאָ֛רֶץ אֶת־הַגִּלְעָ֖ד עַד־דָּֽן׃
וּסְלֵק משֶׁה מִמֵּישְׁרָא דְמוֹאָב לְטוּרָא דִנְבוֹ רֵישׁ רָמָתָא דִּי עַל אַפֵּי יְרֵחוֹ וְאַחְזְיֵיהּ יְיָ יָת כָּל אַרְעָא יָת גִּלְעָד עַד דָּן:
(ב) וְאֵת֙ כׇּל־נַפְתָּלִ֔י וְאֶת־אֶ֥רֶץ אֶפְרַ֖יִם וּמְנַשֶּׁ֑ה וְאֵת֙ כׇּל־אֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֔ה עַ֖ד הַיָּ֥ם הָאַחֲרֽוֹן׃
וְיָת כָּל נַפְתָּלִי וְיָת אַרְעָא דְאֶפְרַיִם וּמְנַשֶּׁה וְיָת כָּל אַרְעָא דִיהוּדָה עַד יַמָּא מַעַרְבָא:
(ג) וְאֶת־הַנֶּ֗גֶב וְֽאֶת־הַכִּכָּ֞ר בִּקְעַ֧ת יְרֵח֛וֹ עִ֥יר הַתְּמָרִ֖ים עַד־צֹֽעַר׃
וְיָת דָּרוֹמָא וְיָת מֵישְׁרָא בִּקְעֲתָא דִירֵחוֹ קַרְתָּא דְדִקְלַיָּא עַד צֹעַר:
(ד) וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֵלָ֗יו זֹ֤את הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִ֠שְׁבַּ֠עְתִּי לְאַבְרָהָ֨ם לְיִצְחָ֤ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹב֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לְזַרְעֲךָ֖ אֶתְּנֶ֑נָּה הֶרְאִיתִ֣יךָ בְעֵינֶ֔יךָ וְשָׁ֖מָּה לֹ֥א תַעֲבֹֽר׃
וַאֲמַר יְיָ לֵיהּ דָּא אַרְעָא דִּי קַיֵּמִית לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב לְמֵימָר לִבְנָיךְ אֶתְּנִנַּהּ אַחֲזִיתָךְ בְּעֵינָיךְ וּלְתַמָּן לָא תְעִבַּר:
(ה) וַיָּ֨מׇת שָׁ֜ם מֹשֶׁ֧ה עֶבֶד־יְהֹוָ֛ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מוֹאָ֖ב עַל־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃
וּמִית תַּמָּן משֶׁה עַבְדָּא דַיְיָ בְּאַרְעָא דְמוֹאָב עַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ:
(ו) וַיִּקְבֹּ֨ר אֹת֤וֹ בַגַּי֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מוֹאָ֔ב מ֖וּל בֵּ֣ית פְּע֑וֹר וְלֹא־יָדַ֥ע אִישׁ֙ אֶת־קְבֻ֣רָת֔וֹ עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
וּקְבַר יָתֵיהּ בְּחֵילָתָא בְּאַרְעָא דְמוֹאָב לָקֳבֵל בֵּית פְּעוֹר וְלָא יְדַע אֱנַשׁ יָת קְבֻרְתֵּיהּ עַד יוֹמָא הָדֵין:
(ז) וּמֹשֶׁ֗ה בֶּן־מֵאָ֧ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֛ים שָׁנָ֖ה בְּמֹת֑וֹ לֹא־כָהֲתָ֥ה עֵינ֖וֹ וְלֹא־נָ֥ס לֵחֹֽה׃
וּמשֶׁה בַּר מְאָה וְעַשְׂרִין שְׁנִין כַּד מִית לָא כְהַת עֵינוֹהִי וְלָא שְׁנָא זִיו יְקָרָא דְאַפּוֹהִי:
(ח) וַיִּבְכּוּ֩ בְנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֛ה בְּעַֽרְבֹ֥ת מוֹאָ֖ב שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים י֑וֹם וַֽיִּתְּמ֔וּ יְמֵ֥י בְכִ֖י אֵ֥בֶל מֹשֶֽׁה׃
וּבְכוֹ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יָת משֶׁה בְּמֵישְׁרַיָּא דְמוֹאָב תְּלָתִין יוֹמִין וּשְׁלִימוּ יוֹמֵי בְכִיתָא אֶבְלָא דְמשֶׁה:
(ט) וִיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ בִּן־נ֗וּן מָלֵא֙ ר֣וּחַ חׇכְמָ֔ה כִּֽי־סָמַ֥ךְ מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶת־יָדָ֖יו עָלָ֑יו וַיִּשְׁמְע֨וּ אֵלָ֤יו בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֔וּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃
וִיהוֹשֻׁעַ בַּר נוּן מְלֵי רוּחַ חָכְמְתָא אֲרֵי סְמַךְ משֶׁה יָת יְדוֹהִי עֲלוֹהִי וְקַבִּילוּ מִנֵּיהּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַעֲבָדוּ כְּמָא דִי פַּקִּיד יְיָ יָת משֶׁה:
(י) וְלֹא־קָ֨ם נָבִ֥יא ע֛וֹד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כְּמֹשֶׁ֑ה אֲשֶׁר֙ יְדָע֣וֹ יְהֹוָ֔ה פָּנִ֖ים אֶל־פָּנִֽים׃
וְלָא קָם נְבִיָּא עוֹד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל כְּמשֶׁה דִּי אִתְגְּלִי לֵיהּ יְיָ אַפִּין בְּאַפִּין:
(יא) לְכׇל־הָ֨אֹתֹ֜ת וְהַמּוֹפְתִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר שְׁלָחוֹ֙ יְהֹוָ֔ה לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם לְפַרְעֹ֥ה וּלְכׇל־עֲבָדָ֖יו וּלְכׇל־אַרְצֽוֹ׃
לְכָל אָתַיָּא וּמוֹפְתַיָּא דִּי שָׁלְחֵיהּ יְיָ לְמֶעְבַּד בְּאַרְעָא דְמִצְרָיִם לְפַרְעֹה וּלְכָל עַבְדּוֹהִי וּלְכָל אַרְעֵיהּ:
(יב) וּלְכֹל֙ הַיָּ֣ד הַחֲזָקָ֔ה וּלְכֹ֖ל הַמּוֹרָ֣א הַגָּד֑וֹל אֲשֶׁר֙ עָשָׂ֣ה מֹשֶׁ֔ה לְעֵינֵ֖י כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
וּלְכֹל יְדָא תַקֶּפְתָּא וּלְכֹל חֵזְוָנָא רַבָּא דִּי עֲבַד משֶׁה לְעֵינֵי כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל:
33 (27) The eternal God is a dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
(28) Yisra᾽el then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Ya῾aqov shall dwell upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.
(29) Happy art thou, O Yisra᾽el: who is like to thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and one that is the sword of thy excellency! and thy enemies shall submit themselves to thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
34 (1) And Moshe went up from the plains of Mo᾽av to the mountain of Nevo, to the top of Pisga, facing Yereĥo, And the Lord showed him all the land of Gil῾ad, to Dan,
(2) and all Naftali, and the land of Efrayim, and Menashshe, and all the land of Yehuda, as far as the utmost sea,
(3) and the Negev, and the plain; the valley of Yereĥo, city of the palm trees, as far as Żo῾ar.
(4) And the Lord said to him, This is the land which I swore to Avraham, to Yiżĥaq and to Ya῾aqov, saying, I will give it to thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thy eyes, but thou shalt not go over there.
(5) So Moshe the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Mo᾽av, according to the word of the Lord.
(6) And he buried him in the valley in the land of Mo᾽av, over against Bet-pe῾or: but no man knows his grave to this day.
(7) And Moshe was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
(8) And the children of Yisra᾽el wept for Moshe in the plains of Mo᾽av thirty days: and the days of weeping and mourning for Moshe were ended.
(9) And Yehoshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moshe had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Yisra᾽el hearkened to him, and did as the Lord commanded Moshe.
(10) And there arose not a prophet since in Yisra᾽el like Moshe, whom the Lord knew face to face,
(11) in all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Miżrayim to Par῾o, and to all his servants and to all his land,
(12) and in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moshe performed in the sight of all Yisra᾽el.

(א) וַֽיְהִ֗י אַחֲרֵ֛י מ֥וֹת מֹשֶׁ֖ה עֶ֣בֶד יְהֹוָ֑ה וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ אֶל־יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ בִּן־נ֔וּן מְשָׁרֵ֥ת מֹשֶׁ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃ (ב) מֹשֶׁ֥ה עַבְדִּ֖י מֵ֑ת וְעַתָּה֩ ק֨וּם עֲבֹ֜ר אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֣ן הַזֶּ֗ה אַתָּה֙ וְכׇל־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה אֶל־הָאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י נֹתֵ֥ן לָהֶ֖ם לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (ג) כׇּל־מָק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּדְרֹ֧ךְ כַּֽף־רַגְלְכֶ֛ם בּ֖וֹ לָכֶ֣ם נְתַתִּ֑יו כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי אֶל־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ (ד) מֵהַמִּדְבָּר֩ וְהַלְּבָנ֨וֹן הַזֶּ֜ה וְֽעַד־הַנָּהָ֧ר הַגָּד֣וֹל נְהַר־פְּרָ֗ת כֹּ֚ל אֶ֣רֶץ הַֽחִתִּ֔ים וְעַד־הַיָּ֥ם הַגָּד֖וֹל מְב֣וֹא הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ יִֽהְיֶ֖ה גְּבֽוּלְכֶֽם׃ (ה) לֹא־יִתְיַצֵּ֥ב אִישׁ֙ לְפָנֶ֔יךָ כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֣י חַיֶּ֑יךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיִ֤יתִי עִם־מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶהְיֶ֣ה עִמָּ֔ךְ לֹ֥א אַרְפְּךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א אֶעֶזְבֶֽךָּ׃ (ו) חֲזַ֖ק וֶאֱמָ֑ץ כִּ֣י אַתָּ֗ה תַּנְחִיל֙ אֶת־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה אֶת־הָאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתִּי לַאֲבוֹתָ֖ם לָתֵ֥ת לָהֶֽם׃ (ז) רַק֩ חֲזַ֨ק וֶאֱמַ֜ץ מְאֹ֗ד לִשְׁמֹ֤ר לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙ כְּכׇל־הַתּוֹרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר צִוְּךָ֙ מֹשֶׁ֣ה עַבְדִּ֔י אַל־תָּס֥וּר מִמֶּ֖נּוּ יָמִ֣ין וּשְׂמֹ֑אול לְמַ֣עַן תַּשְׂכִּ֔יל בְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר תֵּלֵֽךְ׃ (ח) לֹֽא־יָמ֡וּשׁ סֵ֩פֶר֩ הַתּוֹרָ֨ה הַזֶּ֜ה מִפִּ֗יךָ וְהָגִ֤יתָ בּוֹ֙ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלַ֔יְלָה לְמַ֙עַן֙ תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת כְּכׇל־הַכָּת֖וּב בּ֑וֹ כִּי־אָ֛ז תַּצְלִ֥יחַ אֶת־דְּרָכֶ֖ךָ וְאָ֥ז תַּשְׂכִּֽיל׃ (ט) הֲל֤וֹא צִוִּיתִ֙יךָ֙ חֲזַ֣ק וֶאֱמָ֔ץ אַֽל־תַּעֲרֹ֖ץ וְאַל־תֵּחָ֑ת כִּ֤י עִמְּךָ֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר תֵּלֵֽךְ׃ {פ} (י) וַיְצַ֣ו יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ אֶת־שֹׁטְרֵ֥י הָעָ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר׃ (יא) עִבְר֣וּ ׀ בְּקֶ֣רֶב הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֗ה וְצַוּ֤וּ אֶת־הָעָם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הָכִ֥ינוּ לָכֶ֖ם צֵידָ֑ה כִּ֞י בְּע֣וֹד ׀ שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֗ים אַתֶּם֙ עֹֽבְרִים֙ אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֣ן הַזֶּ֔ה לָבוֹא֙ לָרֶ֣שֶׁת אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם נֹתֵ֥ן לָכֶ֖ם לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ {פ} (יב) וְלָרֽאוּבֵנִי֙ וְלַגָּדִ֔י וְלַחֲצִ֖י שֵׁ֣בֶט הַֽמְנַשֶּׁ֑ה אָמַ֥ר יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ לֵאמֹֽר׃ (יג) זָכוֹר֙ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֥ה אֶתְכֶ֛ם מֹשֶׁ֥ה עֶבֶד־יְהֹוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙ מֵנִ֣יחַ לָכֶ֔ם וְנָתַ֥ן לָכֶ֖ם אֶת־הָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּֽאת׃ (יד) נְשֵׁיכֶ֣ם טַפְּכֶם֮ וּמִקְנֵיכֶם֒ יֵשְׁב֕וּ בָּאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֥ן לָכֶ֛ם מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּעֵ֣בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן וְאַתֶּם֩ תַּעַבְר֨וּ חֲמֻשִׁ֜ים לִפְנֵ֣י אֲחֵיכֶ֗ם כֹּ֚ל גִּבּוֹרֵ֣י הַחַ֔יִל וַעֲזַרְתֶּ֖ם אוֹתָֽם׃ (טו) עַ֠ד אֲשֶׁר־יָנִ֨יחַ יְהֹוָ֥ה ׀ לַאֲחֵיכֶם֮ כָּכֶם֒ וְיָרְשׁ֣וּ גַם־הֵ֔מָּה אֶת־הָאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם נֹתֵ֣ן לָהֶ֑ם וְשַׁבְתֶּ֞ם לְאֶ֤רֶץ יְרֻשַּׁתְכֶם֙ וִירִשְׁתֶּ֣ם אוֹתָ֔הּ אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ נָתַ֣ן לָכֶ֗ם מֹשֶׁה֙ עֶ֣בֶד יְהֹוָ֔ה בְּעֵ֥בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן מִזְרַ֥ח הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃ (טז) וַֽיַּעֲנ֔וּ אֶת־יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ לֵאמֹ֑ר כֹּ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוִּיתָ֙נוּ֙ נַעֲשֶׂ֔ה וְאֶֽל־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּשְׁלָחֵ֖נוּ נֵלֵֽךְ׃ (יז) כְּכֹ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־שָׁמַ֙עְנוּ֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה כֵּ֖ן נִשְׁמַ֣ע אֵלֶ֑יךָ רַ֠ק יִֽהְיֶ֞ה יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ עִמָּ֔ךְ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָיָ֖ה עִם־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ (יח) כׇּל־אִ֞ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יַמְרֶ֣ה אֶת־פִּ֗יךָ וְלֹֽא־יִשְׁמַ֧ע אֶת־דְּבָרֶ֛יךָ לְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־תְּצַוֶּ֖נּוּ יוּמָ֑ת רַ֖ק חֲזַ֥ק וֶאֱמָֽץ׃ {פ}
(1) After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ attendant: (2) “My servant Moses is dead. Prepare to cross the Jordan, together with all this people, into the land that I am giving to the Israelites. (3) Every spot on which your foot treads I give to you, as I promised Moses. (4) Your territory shall extend from the wilderness and the Lebanon to the Great River, the River Euphrates [on the east]—the whole Hittite country—and up to the Mediterranean Sea on the west. (5) No one shall be able to resist you as long as you live. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. (6) “Be strong and resolute, for you shall apportion to this people the land that I swore to their fathers to assign to them. (7) But you must be very strong and resolute to observe faithfully all the Teaching that My servant Moses enjoined upon you. Do not deviate from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. (8) Let not this Book of the Teaching cease from your lips, but recite it day and night, so that you may observe faithfully all that is written in it. Only then will you prosper in your undertakings and only then will you be successful. (9) “I charge you: Be strong and resolute; do not be terrified or dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (10) Joshua thereupon gave orders to the officials of the people: (11) “Go through the camp and charge the people thus: Get provisions ready, for in three days’ time you are to cross the Jordan, in order to enter and possess the land that the LORD your God is giving you as a possession.” (12) Then Joshua said to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, (13) “Remember what Moses the servant of the LORD enjoined upon you, when he said, ‘The LORD your God is granting you a haven; He has assigned this territory to you’: (14) Let your wives, children, and livestock remain in the land that Moses assigned to you on this side of-b the Jordan; but every one of your fighting men shall go across armed in the van of your kinsmen. And you shall assist them (15) until the LORD has given your kinsmen a haven, such as you have, and they too have gained possession of the land that the LORD your God has assigned to them. Then you may return to the land on the east side of the Jordan, which Moses the servant of the LORD assigned to you as your possession, and you may possess it.” (16) They answered Joshua, “We will do everything you have commanded us and we will go wherever you send us. (17) We will obey you just as we obeyed Moses; let but the LORD your God be with you as He was with Moses! (18) Any man who flouts your commands and does not obey every order you give him shall be put to death. Only be strong and resolute!”
