(כה) וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הַגִּ֤שָׁה לִּי֙ וְאֹֽכְלָה֙ מִצֵּ֣יד בְּנִ֔י לְמַ֥עַן תְּבָֽרֶכְךָ֖ נַפְשִׁ֑י וַיַּגֶּשׁ־לוֹ֙ וַיֹּאכַ֔ל וַיָּ֧בֵא ל֦וֹ יַ֖יִן וַיֵּֽשְׁתְּ׃
(25) And he said, “Serve me, that I may eat of my son’s game so that my soul may bless you," and he served him and he ate, and he brought him wine and he drank.
(טו) וַיָּבֹ֗אוּ שֹֽׁטְרֵי֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּצְעֲק֥וּ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר לָ֧מָּה תַעֲשֶׂ֦ה כֹ֖ה לַעֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃
(15) And the foremen of the children of Israel came to Pharaoh and cried: “Why do you act so to your servants?
(א) וַיִּקְח֣וּ בְנֵֽי־אַ֠הֲרֹ֠ן נָדָ֨ב וַאֲבִיה֜וּא אִ֣ישׁ מַחְתָּת֗וֹ וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ בָהֵן֙ אֵ֔שׁ וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ עָלֶ֖יהָ קְטֹ֑רֶת וַיַּקְרִ֜יבוּ לִפְנֵ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ אֵ֣שׁ זָרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹ֦א צִוָּ֖ה אֹתָֽם׃
(1) And Aharon’s sons Nadabh and Abhihu each took his fire pan, put fire in it, and laid incense on it; and they offered before the LORD alien fire, which He had not commanded them.
(ג) וְלָמָ֣ה יְ֠הֹוָ֠ה מֵבִ֨יא אֹתָ֜נוּ אֶל־הָאָ֤רֶץ הַזֹּאת֙ לִנְפֹּ֣ל בַּחֶ֔רֶב נָשֵׁ֥ינוּ וְטַפֵּ֖נוּ יִהְי֣וּ לָבַ֑ז הֲל֧וֹא ט֦וֹב לָ֖נוּ שׁ֥וּב מִצְרָֽיְמָה׃
(3) And why is the LORD taking us to that land to fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be carried off! Wouldn't it be better for us to return Egyptwards!?”
(מב) וְנֹ֣בַח הָלַ֔ךְ וַיִּלְכֹּ֥ד אֶת־קְנָ֖ת וְאֶת־בְּנֹתֶ֑יהָ וַיִּקְרָ֧א לָ֦הֿ נֹ֖בַח בִּשְׁמֽוֹ׃ {פ}
(42) And Nóbhaḥ went and captured Q'nath and its suburbs, and he renamed it Nóbhaḥ after himself.
(ג) וַיַּגֶּד־לָ֥הּ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה אֶת־כׇּל־דְּבָרֶ֑יהָ לֹֽא־הָיָ֤ה דָּבָר֙ נֶעְלָ֣ם מִן־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹ֦א הִגִּ֖יד לָֽהּ׃
(3) And Shlomoh told her all her matters; there was nothing that was hidden from the king, [nothing] to which he could not tell her.
(כט) וַֽיַּחֲנ֧וּ אֵ֦לֶּה נֹכַח־אֵ֖לֶּה שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים וַיְהִ֣י ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י וַתִּקְרַב֙ הַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וַיַּכּ֨וּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל אֶת־אֲרָ֛ם מֵאָה־אֶ֥לֶף רַגְלִ֖י בְּי֥וֹם אֶחָֽד׃
(29) And they were encamped, each opposite each other, for seven days; and it was on the seventh day, and war came, and the children of Israel struck Aram, a hundred thousand ground troops in one day.
(ד) לָכֵ֣ן דַּבֵּר־א֠וֹתָ֠ם וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה אִ֣ישׁ אִ֣ישׁ מִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל אֲשֶׁר֩ יַעֲלֶ֨ה אֶת־גִּלּוּלָ֜יו אֶל־לִבּ֗וֹ וּמִכְשׁ֤וֹל עֲוֺנוֹ֙ יָשִׂים֙ נֹ֣כַח פָּנָ֔יו וּבָ֖א אֶל־הַנָּבִ֑יא אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה נַעֲנֵ֧יתִי ל֦וֹ (בה) [בָ֖א] בְּרֹ֥ב גִּלּוּלָֽיו׃
(4) Now speak to them and say to them: Thus said the Lord GOD: Any individual of the House of Israel who brings up his fetishes in his mind and turns his face to his stumbling sins, and comes to the prophet, I the LORD will respond to him as he comes with his multitude of fetishes.
(ג) לָ֣מָּה תַרְאֵ֤נִי אָ֙וֶן֙ וְעָמָ֣ל תַּבִּ֔יט וְשֹׁ֥ד וְחָמָ֖ס לְנֶגְדִּ֑י וַיְהִ֧י רִ֦יב וּמָד֖וֹן יִשָּֽׂא׃
(3) Why do You show me iniquity, look upon wrong? And raiding and violence are before me, there is strife and contention goes on.
(ב) וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֗ן יִגְעַ֨ר יְהֹוָ֤ה בְּךָ֙ הַשָּׂטָ֔ן וְיִגְעַ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ בְּךָ֔ הַבֹּחֵ֖ר בִּירֽוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם הֲל֧וֹא זֶ֦ה א֖וּד מֻצָּ֥ל מֵאֵֽשׁ׃
(2) But the LORD said to the prosecutor, “The LORD rebuke you, prosecutor; the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
(כה) וְאַ֣נְתְּ עֶזְרָ֗א כְּחׇכְמַ֨ת אֱלָהָ֤ךְ דִּֽי־בִידָךְ֙ מֶ֣נִּי שָׁפְטִ֞ין וְדַיָּנִ֗ין דִּי־לֶהֱוֺ֤ן (דאנין) [דָּאיְנִין֙] לְכׇל־עַמָּא֙ דִּ֚י בַּעֲבַ֣ר נַהֲרָ֔ה לְכׇל־יָדְעֵ֖י דָּתֵ֣י אֱלָהָ֑ךְ וְדִ֧י לָ֦א יָדַ֖ע תְּהוֹדְעֽוּן׃
(25) And you, Ezra, by the divine wisdom you possess, appoint magistrates and judges to judge all the people in the province of Beyond the River who know the laws of your God, and to teach those who do not know them.
(לח) וַנִּבְנֶה֙ אֶת־הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה וַתִּקָּשֵׁ֥ר כׇּל־הַחוֹמָ֖ה עַד־חֶצְיָ֑הּ וַיְהִ֧י לֵ֦ב לָעָ֖ם לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ {פ}
(38) And we built the wall, and all the wall was continuous to half its height; for the people’s heart was [set] to do it.
(ב) וַיַּגֶּד־לָ֥הּ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה אֶת־כׇּל־דְּבָרֶ֑יהָ וְלֹֽא־נֶעְלַ֤ם דָּבָר֙ מִשְּׁלֹמֹ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹ֦א הִגִּ֖יד לָֽהּ׃
(2) And Shlomoh told her all her matters; and nothing was hidden from Shlomoh, [nothing] that he could not tell her.
(ל) וַתִּשְׁקֹ֖ט מַלְכ֣וּת יְהוֹשָׁפָ֑ט וַיָּ֧נַֽח ל֦וֹ אֱלֹהָ֖יו מִסָּבִֽיב׃ {פ}
(30) And the kingdom of Yehoshafaṭ was untroubled, and his God granted him respite on all sides.

(טז) וַֽיִּתְמַהְמָ֓הּ ׀ וַיַּחֲזִ֨יקוּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֜ים בְּיָד֣וֹ וּבְיַד־אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ וּבְיַד֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י בְנֹתָ֔יו בְּחֶמְלַ֥ת יְהֹוָ֖ה עָלָ֑יו וַיֹּצִאֻ֥הוּ וַיַּנִּחֻ֖הוּ מִח֥וּץ לָעִֽיר׃
(16) And he delayed, and the two men grabbed his hand and his wife's hand and the hand of his two daughters, through the mercy of the LORD upon him, and they took him and let him rest outside the city.
(יב) וַיֹּאמַ֓ר ׀ יְהֹוָ֗ה אֱלֹהֵי֙ אֲדֹנִ֣י אַבְרָהָ֔ם הַקְרֵה־נָ֥א לְפָנַ֖י הַיּ֑וֹם וַעֲשֵׂה־חֶ֕סֶד עִ֖ם אֲדֹנִ֥י אַבְרָהָֽם׃
(12) And he said, “O LORD, God of my master Abraham, please bring fortune before me today, and deal graciously with my master Avraham:
(ח) וַיְמָאֵ֓ן ׀ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־אֵ֣שֶׁת אֲדֹנָ֔יו הֵ֣ן אֲדֹנִ֔י לֹא־יָדַ֥ע אִתִּ֖י מַה־בַּבָּ֑יִת וְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־יֶשׁ־ל֖וֹ נָתַ֥ן בְּיָדִֽי׃
(8) And he refused, and he said to the wife of his master, "Hey, my master does not know with me what is in the house, and he has given into my hand all that is his!"
(כג) וַיִּשְׁחָ֓ט ׀ וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֹשֶׁה֙ מִדָּמ֔וֹ וַיִּתֵּ֛ן עַל־תְּנ֥וּךְ אֹֽזֶן־אַהֲרֹ֖ן הַיְמָנִ֑ית וְעַל־בֹּ֤הֶן יָדוֹ֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית וְעַל־בֹּ֥הֶן רַגְל֖וֹ הַיְמָנִֽית׃
(23) And he slaughtered, and Moshe took from its blood and put it on the ridge of Aharon’s right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
(ח) וְֽנִבְהָ֓לוּ ׀ צִירִ֤ים וַֽחֲבָלִים֙ יֹֽאחֵז֔וּן כַּיּוֹלֵדָ֖ה יְחִיל֑וּן אִ֤ישׁ אֶל־רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ יִתְמָ֔הוּ פְּנֵ֥י לְהָבִ֖ים פְּנֵיהֶֽם׃
(8) And, overcome by terror, pangs and throes, shall seize them; like a woman in labor they will writhe, each shall be horrified at each other, their faces pale-faced.
(ב) וַיֹּאמַ֓ר ׀ יְהֹוָה֙ מִצִּיּ֣וֹן יִשְׁאָ֔ג וּמִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם יִתֵּ֣ן קוֹל֑וֹ וְאָֽבְלוּ֙ נְא֣וֹת הָרֹעִ֔ים וְיָבֵ֖שׁ רֹ֥אשׁ הַכַּרְמֶֽל׃ {פ}
(2) And he said: The LORD from Zion roars, and from Jerusalem gives voice; and the pastures of the shepherds shall languish, and the top of Carmel shall wither.
(טו) וַאֲמַר־לֵ֓הּ ׀ (אלה) [אֵ֚ל] מָֽאנַיָּ֔א שֵׂ֚א אֵֽזֶל־אֲחֵ֣ת הִמּ֔וֹ בְּהֵיכְלָ֖א דִּ֣י בִירוּשְׁלֶ֑ם וּבֵ֥ית אֱלָהָ֖א יִתְבְּנֵ֥א עַל־אַתְרֵֽהּ׃ {פ}
(15) And he said to him, “Take these vessels, go, deposit them in the temple in Jerusalem, and let the House of God be rebuilt on its original site.”

(ה) וּמַדֹּתֶ֞ם מִח֣וּץ לָעִ֗יר אֶת־פְּאַת־קֵ֣דְמָה אַלְפַּ֪יִם בָּֽאַמָּ֟ה וְאֶת־פְּאַת־נֶ֩גֶב֩ אַלְפַּ֨יִם בָּאַמָּ֜ה וְאֶת־פְּאַת־יָ֣ם ׀ אַלְפַּ֣יִם בָּֽאַמָּ֗ה וְאֵ֨ת פְּאַ֥ת צָפ֛וֹן אַלְפַּ֥יִם בָּאַמָּ֖ה וְהָעִ֣יר בַּתָּ֑וֶךְ זֶ֚ה יִהְיֶ֣ה לָהֶ֔ם מִגְרְשֵׁ֖י הֶעָרִֽים׃
(5) And you shall measure off outside the east side of the town two thousand cubits, on the south side two thousand cubits, on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits, with the town in the center, and that shall be the pasture for their towns.
(נא) אֵ֣לֶּה הַנְּחָלֹ֡ת אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִחֲל֣וּ אֶלְעָזָ֣ר הַכֹּהֵ֣ן ׀ וִיהוֹשֻׁ֪עַ בִּן־נ֟וּן וְרָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֣וֹת לְמַטּוֹת֩ בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל ׀ בְּגוֹרָ֤ל ׀ בְּשִׁלֹה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וַיְכַלּ֕וּ מֵחַלֵּ֖ק אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ {פ}
(51) These are the portions that El'azar the priest and Yehoshua' son of Nun and the ancestral heads apportioned to the tribes of Israel, by lot, at Shiloh before the LORD, at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and they finished apportioning the land.
(ב) וּשְׁנֵ֣י אֲנָשִׁ֣ים שָׂרֵֽי־גְדוּדִ֣ים הָי֪וּ בֶן־שָׁא֟וּל שֵׁם֩ הָאֶחָ֨ד בַּעֲנָ֜ה וְשֵׁ֧ם הַשֵּׁנִ֣י רֵכָ֗ב בְּנֵ֛י רִמּ֥וֹן הַבְּאֵֽרֹתִ֖י מִבְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן כִּ֚י גַּם־בְּאֵר֔וֹת תֵּחָשֵׁ֖ב עַל־בִּנְיָמִֽן׃
(2) And two men, company-commanders, belonged to the son of Shaul; one was named Ba'ana and the other was named Rekhabh, sons of Rimmon the Beerothite — from the Benjaminites, since Beeroth was also considered part of Benjamin.
(ה) וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח אֲשֶׁר־עַל־הַבַּ֣יִת וַאֲשֶׁ֪ר עַל־הָעִ֟יר וְהַזְּקֵנִים֩ וְהָאֹמְנִ֨ים אֶל־יֵה֤וּא ׀ לֵאמֹר֙ עֲבָדֶ֣יךָֽ אֲנַ֔חְנוּ וְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאמַ֥ר אֵלֵ֖ינוּ נַעֲשֶׂ֑ה לֹא־נַמְלִ֣ךְ אִ֔ישׁ הַטּ֥וֹב בְּעֵינֶ֖יךָ עֲשֵֽׂה׃
(5) And the palace official and the city official and the elders and the guardians sent [word] to Yehu, saying: “We are your servants, and whatever you tell us we shall do; we shall not proclaim anyone king; do what is good in your eyes.”
(יג) וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם כֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה הִנְנִ֣י מְמַלֵּ֣א אֶת־כׇּל־יֹשְׁבֵ֣י הָאָ֪רֶץ הַזֹּ֟את וְאֶת־הַמְּלָכִ֣ים הַיֹּשְׁבִים֩ לְדָוִ֨ד עַל־כִּסְא֜וֹ וְאֶת־הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְאֶת־הַנְּבִאִ֗ים וְאֵ֛ת כׇּל־יֹשְׁבֵ֥י יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם שִׁכָּרֽוֹן׃
(13) And say to them, “Thus said the LORD: Hey, I am going to fill all the inhabitants of this land, and the kings sitting on the throne of David, and the priests and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.”
(כה) וְכִֽי־יִשְׁמְע֣וּ הַשָּׂרִים֮ כִּי־דִבַּ֣רְתִּי אִתָּךְ֒ וּבָ֣אוּ אֵלֶ֣יךָ וְֽאָמְר֪וּ אֵלֶ֟יךָ הַגִּידָה־נָּ֨א לָ֜נוּ מַה־דִּבַּ֧רְתָּ אֶל־הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אַל־תְּכַחֵ֥ד מִמֶּ֖נּוּ וְלֹ֣א נְמִיתֶ֑ךָ וּמַה־דִּבֶּ֥ר אֵלֶ֖יךָ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
(25) And if the officials should hear that I have spoken with you, and they should come and say to you, ‘Please tell us what you said to the king; hide nothing from us, so we won't kill you, and what did the king say to you?’
(כא) וְהַנּוֹתָ֣ר לַנָּשִׂ֣יא מִזֶּ֣ה ׀ וּמִזֶּ֣ה ׀ לִתְרֽוּמַת־הַקֹּ֣דֶשׁ וְלַאֲחֻזַּ֪ת הָעִ֟יר אֶל־פְּנֵ֣י חֲמִשָּׁה֩ וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים אֶ֥לֶף ׀ תְּרוּמָה֮ עַד־גְּב֣וּל קָדִ֒ימָה֒ וְיָ֗מָּה עַל־פְּ֠נֵ֠י חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים אֶ֙לֶף֙ עַל־גְּב֣וּל יָ֔מָּה לְעֻמַּ֥ת חֲלָקִ֖ים לַנָּשִׂ֑יא וְהָֽיְתָה֙ תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וּמִקְדַּ֥שׁ הַבַּ֖יִת בְּתוֹכֹֽה׃
(21) And what remains shall be the prince's, on either side of the sacred reserve, and of the city property, from the border of the 25,000 of the reserve up to the eastern boundary, and from the border of the 25,000 on the west up to the western boundary, corresponding to the portions, shall be the prince's, and the sacred reserve, with the Temple Sanctuary in the middle of it.
(ט) וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חַ֠רְבוֹנָ֠ה אֶחָ֨ד מִן־הַסָּרִיסִ֜ים לִפְנֵ֣י הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ גַּ֣ם הִנֵּה־הָעֵ֣ץ אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֪ה הָמָ֟ן לְֽמׇרְדֳּכַ֞י אֲשֶׁ֧ר דִּבֶּר־ט֣וֹב עַל־הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ עֹמֵד֙ בְּבֵ֣ית הָמָ֔ן גָּבֹ֖הַּ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים אַמָּ֑ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ תְּלֻ֥הוּ עָלָֽיו׃
(9) And Ḥarbhona, one of the eunuchs before the king, said, “Also, hey, this stake that Haman made for Mordekhai who spoke good for the king is standing in Haman's house, with a height of fifty cubits!” And the king said, “Impale him on it!”
(ו) תְּהִ֣י נָ֣א אׇזְנְךָֽ־קַשֶּׁ֣בֶת וְֽעֵינֶ֪יךָ פְתוּח֟וֹת לִשְׁמֹ֣עַ אֶל־תְּפִלַּ֣ת עַבְדְּךָ֡ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָנֹכִי֩ מִתְפַּלֵּ֨ל לְפָנֶ֤יךָ הַיּוֹם֙ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלַ֔יְלָה עַל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עֲבָדֶ֑יךָ וּמִתְוַדֶּ֗ה עַל־חַטֹּ֤אות בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֣אנוּ לָ֔ךְ וַאֲנִ֥י וּבֵית־אָבִ֖י חָטָֽאנוּ׃
(6) Let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes opened to hear the prayer of Your servant that I am praying before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, confessing the sins that we children of Israel have committed against You, that I and my father’s house have committed.
(יג) גַּם־חׇצְנִ֣י נָעַ֗רְתִּי וָֽאֹמְרָ֡ה כָּ֣כָה יְנַעֵ֪ר הָֽאֱלֹהִ֟ים אֶת־כׇּל־הָאִישׁ֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹֽא־יָקִ֜ים אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה מִבֵּיתוֹ֙ וּמִ֣יגִיע֔וֹ וְכָ֛כָה יִהְיֶ֥ה נָע֖וּר וָרֵ֑ק וַיֹּאמְר֨וּ כׇֽל־הַקָּהָ֜ל אָמֵ֗ן וַֽיְהַלְלוּ֙ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֔ה וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָעָ֖ם כַּדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃
(13) I also shook out the bosom of my garment and said, “So may God shake free of his household and property any man who fails to keep this matter; and may he be thus shaken out and stripped,” and all the community said, “Amen,” and praised the LORD, an dthe people kept this matter.
(ה) וַיַּ֨עַשׂ ל֜וֹ לִשְׁכָּ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֗ה וְשָׁ֣ם הָי֪וּ לְפָנִ֟ים נֹ֠תְנִ֠ים אֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֨ה הַלְּבוֹנָ֜ה וְהַכֵּלִ֗ים וּמַעְשַׂ֤ר הַדָּגָן֙ הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְהַיִּצְהָ֔ר מִצְוַת֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים וְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִ֑ים וּתְרוּמַ֖ת הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃
(5) He had made him a large room where they had used to put the meal offering, the frankincense, and the equipment, and the tithes of grain, wine, and oil, as commanded to the Levites and the singers and the gatekeepers, and the gifts for the priests.
(טו) בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֡מָּה רָאִ֣יתִי בִֽיהוּדָ֣ה ׀ דֹּֽרְכִֽים־גִּתּ֣וֹת ׀ בַּשַּׁבָּ֡ת וּמְבִיאִ֣ים הָעֲרֵמ֣וֹת וְֽעֹמְסִ֪ים עַל־הַחֲמֹרִ֟ים וְאַף־יַ֜יִן עֲנָבִ֤ים וּתְאֵנִים֙ וְכׇל־מַשָּׂ֔א וּמְבִיאִ֥ים יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם בְּי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת וָאָעִ֕יד בְּי֖וֹם מִכְרָ֥ם צָֽיִד׃
(15) In those days I saw in Judah winepress-treaders on the Sabbath, and people bringing heaps of grain and setting them on donkeys, and even wine, grapes and figs and all sort of loads, and bringing them to Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, and I admonished them on that day for selling provisions.
(א) וַיַּקְהֵ֣ל דָּוִ֣יד אֶת־כׇּל־שָׂרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל שָׂרֵ֣י הַשְּׁבָטִ֣ים וְשָׂרֵ֣י הַמַּחְלְק֣וֹת הַמְשָׁרְתִ֪ים אֶת־הַמֶּ֟לֶךְ וְשָׂרֵ֣י הָאֲלָפִ֣ים וְשָׂרֵ֣י הַמֵּא֡וֹת וְשָׂרֵ֣י כׇל־רְכוּשׁ־וּמִקְנֶה֩ ׀ לַמֶּ֨לֶךְ וּלְבָנָ֜יו עִם־הַסָּרִיסִ֧ים וְהַגִּבּוֹרִ֛ים וּֽלְכׇל־גִּבּ֥וֹר חָ֖יִל אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
(1) And David assembled all the officers of Israel — the tribal officers, and the divisional officers ministering to the king, and the officers of thousands, and the officers of hundreds, and the officers of all the property and cattle of the king and of his sons, along with the eunuchs and the warriors, and all the worthy men — to Jerusalem.
(ה) וַיִּקְבֹּץ֮ אֶת־הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּם֒ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָהֶ֡ם צְא֣וּ לְעָרֵ֪י יְהוּדָ֟ה וְקִבְצוּ֩ מִכׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל כֶּ֜סֶף לְחַזֵּ֣ק ׀ אֶת־בֵּ֣ית אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֗ם מִדֵּ֤י שָׁנָה֙ בְּשָׁנָ֔ה וְאַתֶּ֖ם תְּמַהֲר֣וּ לַדָּבָ֑ר וְלֹ֥א מִהֲר֖וּ הַלְוִיִּֽם׃
(5) And he gathered the priests and the Levites and said to them, “Go out to the cities of Judah and gather money from all Israel to repair the house of your God yearly, quickly get to it!” And the Levites did not act quickly.
(ז) וַיָּ֣רֶם יֹאשִׁיָּ֣הוּ לִבְנֵ֪י הָעָ֟ם צֹ֞אן כְּבָשִׂ֣ים וּבְנֵי־עִזִּים֮ הַכֹּ֣ל לַפְּסָחִים֒ לְכׇל־הַנִּמְצָ֗א לְמִסְפַּר֙ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים אֶ֔לֶף וּבָקָ֖ר שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֑ים אֵ֖לֶּה מֵרְכ֥וּשׁ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ {ס}
(7) And Yoshiahu raised for the children of the people from the flock—lambs and goats, all for passover sacrifices for all who were found — to the sum of 30,000, and from the herds, 3,000 — these from the property of the king.
