(יב) הָפַ֣כְתָּ מִסְפְּדִי֮ לְמָח֪וֹל לִ֥י פִּתַּ֥חְתָּ שַׂקִּ֑י וַֽתְּאַזְּרֵ֥נִי שִׂמְחָֽה׃
(יג) לְמַ֤עַן ׀ יְזַמֶּרְךָ֣ כָ֭בוֹד וְלֹ֣א יִדֹּ֑ם יְהוָ֥ה אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י לְעוֹלָ֥ם אוֹדֶֽךָּ׃
Psalm 30:12-13 is set to lively music with a special emphasis on the meaning of the words as depicted by pictures of people helping each other and davening (praying) to Hashem (God) for each other especially when the words are "so that my soul might sing to You" and "forever will I thank You"
This expresses the concept that we express our gratitude for being alive each moment in the form of goodness, kindness and love.
