Proverbs 12:27-28
לֹא יַחֲרֹךְ רְמִיָּה צֵידוֹ וְהוֹן אָדָם יָקָר חָרוּץ: בְּאֹרַח צְדָקָה חַיִּים וְדֶרֶךְ נְתִיבָה אַל מָוֶת:
A negligent person never has game to roast; a diligent person has precious wealth. The road of righteousness leads to life; by way of its path there is no death. [JPS translation. Edited for gender neutrality]
