טוֹב אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם מִגִּבּוֹר וּמֹשֵׁל בְּרוּחוֹ מִלֹּכֵד עִיר
Better to be forbearing than mighty, to have self-control than to conquer a city. [JPS translation]
