— Niph. - נִסְמַךְ 1 he supported himself, leaned; PBH 2 was brought near, was brought in juxtaposition; MH 3 became dense; MH 4 was put into the construct state.
— Pi. - סִמֵּךְ he supported.
— Pu. - סֻמַּךְ was supported.
— Hith. - הִסְתַּמֵּךְ PBH 1 he leaned himself; NH 2 he referred to.
— Hiph. - הִסְמִיךְ PBH 1 he supported; PBH 2 he brought near; MH 3 he made thick.
— Hoph. - הֻסְמַךְ MH 1 was supported; MH 2 was brought near; NH 3 was made thick; NH 4 was ordained, was authorized.
