Breslov is a sect of Chasidism founded in late 18th-century Ukraine by Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, great-grandson of the Ba'al Shem Tov. The foundational texts of Breslov consist of Rebbe Nachman’s teachings, as compiled by his foremost student, Rebbe Nathan Sternhartz, as well as Rebbe Nathan’s own works.
