מַטַל כַּס דִלְוָט לְאַשְׁקָאָה יַת מִצְרָאֵי הָא יְיָ מִתְגְלֵי בַּעֲנָן יְקָרֵהּ לְאִתְפְּרָעָא מִמִצְרַיִם וְיִתַּבְּרוּ טַעֲוַת מִצְרָאֵי מִן קֳדָמוֹהִי וְלִבָא דְמִצְרָאֵי יִתְמְסֵי בִּמְעֵיהוֹן: The Burden Of The Cup Of Cursing To Make The Egyptians To Drink. Behold, the Lord is revealed in the cloud of His glory, to take vengeance of the Egyptians; and the idols of the Egyptians shall be broken before His face, and the heart of the Egyptians shall be melted within them.
וֶאֱגָרֵי מִצְרָאֵי בְּמִצְרָאֵי וִיגִיחוּן קְרָב גְבַר בַּאֲחוּהִי וּגְבַר בְּחַבְרֵהּ קְרִי בִּקְרִי וּמָלְכוּ בְמָלְכוּ: And I will excite Egyptians against Egyptians, and they shall wage war, every man against his brother, and every man against his neighbour: city against city, kingdom against kingdom.
וְתִתְמְסֵי רוּחָא דְמִצְרָאֵי בִּמְעֵיהוֹן וְחַכִּימֵיהוֹן אֱסַלְעֵם וְיִתְבְּעוּן מִן טַעֲוָן וּמִן חֲרָשִׁין וּמִן בִּידִין וּמִן זְכוּרוּ: And the spirit of the Egyptians shall melt within them, and their wise men I will destroy: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, to the deceitful, and to the diviners.
וְאֶמְסַר יַת מִצְרָאֵי בְּיַד רִבּוֹן קְשֵׁי וּמְלַךְ תַּקִיף יִשְׁלוֹט בְּהוֹן אֲמַר רִבּוֹן עַלְמָא יְיָ צְבָאוֹת: And I will deliver the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord of the world, the Lord of hosts.
וְיִצְדוּן מַיָא מִיַמָא וּנְהַרְהוֹן יֶחְרוֹב וְיִיבַשׁ: And the waters of the sea shall be laid desolate, and their river shall be wasted and dried up.
וְיִצְדוּן נַהַרְוָתְהוֹן וְיִבְשׁוּן וְיֶחְרְבוּן נַהֲרֵיהוֹן עַמִיקַיָא קָנֵי וְגוֹמָא לָא יִסְקוּן: And their rivers shall be laid waste, and their deep streams shall be dried up and wasted: the reeds and flags shall not grow.
וְיִיבַשׁ רוּבֵהּ דְנַהֲרָא וִיהֵי בְכֵיפֵי וְכָל בֵּית מִזְרַע נְהַרְהוֹן יִיבַשׁ וְיֶחֱרַב וְלָא יִצְמַח: And the greatest part of the river shall wither, and that which is on its bank, and every sown place of their rivers shall wither, and shall be dried up, and nothing shall grow.
וְיִצְדוּן צַיְדֵי נוּנַיָא וְיִתְאַבְּלוּן כָּל דַהֲווֹ רָמָן בְּנַהֲרָא חַכְּתָא וּפַרְסֵי מַצְדָן עַל אַפֵּי מַיָא יִצְדוּן: The fishermen shall be laid desolate, and all they that cast angle into the brook, and they that spread nets upon the faces of the waters shall be destroyed.
וְיִבְהֲתוּן פַּלְחֵי כִּתָּנָא דִסְרִיקִין וּמְחָן מִנֵהּ מַצְדָן: They shall be confounded which work combed flax, and weave nets of it.
וִיהֵי אֲתַר בֵּית שָׁתֵי מְחָא כְבִישִׁין אֲתַר דַהֲווֹ עָבְדִין סִכְרָא וְכָנְשִׁין מַיָא גְבַר לְנַפְשֵׁהּ: And there shall be trodden under foot the well watered place, where they have been making pits, waterpools each for himself.
בְּרַם אִטַפָּשׁוּ רַבְרְבַי טָאנֵס חַכִּימַיָא דְמַלְכוּהִי לְפַרְעֹה מְלַךְ דְטָעוּ אֵיכְדֵין תַּמְרוּן לְפַרְעֹה בְּנֵי חַכִּימִין אֲנַחְנָא וְאַתְּ בַּר מַלְכִין דְמִלְקַדְמִין: Surely the princes of Tanes have become foolish; the wise, the counsellors of Pharaoh have counselled an erroneous counsel; how will Pharaoh, We are the sons of the wise, and thou art the son of ancient kings.
אָן אִינוּן חַכִימָךְ וִיחַווּן כְּעַן לָךְ וְיֵדְעוּן מַה מְלַךְ יְיָ צְבָאוֹת עַל מִצְרָיִם: Where are thy wise men? Let them tell thee now, and let them know what the Lord of hosts has counselled against Egypt.
אִטְפַּשׁוּ רַבְרְבֵי טָאנֵס טְעוֹ אֱנָשׁ מַפִיס אַטְעַיוּ יַת מִצְרָאֵי רַבָּנֵי פַלְכָהָא: The princes of Tanes have become foolish, the men of Memphis have erred; they caused the Egyptians, the lords of the provinces, to err.
יְיָ רָמָא בֵינֵיהוֹן רוּחַ דְטָעוּ וְאַטְעִיאוּ יַת מִצְרַיִם בְּכָל עוֹבְדֵיהוֹן כְּמָא דְטָעֵי רַוְיָא וּמִדַשְׁדֵשׁ בְּתִיוּבֵהּ: The Lord hath sent among them a spirit of error, and they have caused the Egyptians to err in all their works, as a drunkard staggereth, and tramples in his vomit.
וְלָא יְהֵי לְמִצְרַיִם מַלְכָא דִמְלַךְ רֵישׁ וְהֶגְמוֹן שִׁלְטוֹן וְאִטְרוֹן: And the Egyptians shall have no king to reign, no prince, noble, governor, or ruler.
בְּעִדָנָא הַהִיא יְהוֹן מִצְרָאֵי חַלָשִׁין כְּנִשִׁין וִיזוּעוּן וְיִתַּבְּרוּן מִן קֳדָם אֱרָמוּת גְבוּרְתָּא דַייָ צְבָאוֹת דְהוּא מֵרִים עֲלֵיהוֹן: At that time the Egyptians shall be weak, they shall be afraid, and fear on account of the exultation of the power of the Lord of hosts, which He is lifting up against them.
וּתְהֵי אַרְעָא דְבֵית יְהוּדָה לְמִצְרַיִם לְדַחֲלָא כָּל דְיִדְכַּר יָתָהּ לֵיהּ יְזוּעַ מִן קֳדָם מַלְכָא דַייָ צְבָאוֹת דְהוּא מְלִיךְ עֲלֵיהוֹן: And the land of the house of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt; if anyone mention it unto them, they shall tremble because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath counselled against them.
בְעִדָנָא הַהִיא יֶהֶוְיָן חֲמֵשׁ קִרְוִין בְּאַרְעָא דְמִצְרַיִם מְמַלְלָן מַמְלַל כְּנַעֲנָאָה וְקַיְמָן בִּשְׁמָא דַייָ צְבָאוֹת קַרְתָּא בֵית שֶׁמֶשׁ דַעֲתִידָא לְמֶחְרַב יִתְאַמַר הִיא חֲדָא מִנְהוֹן: At that time, there shall be five cities in the land of Egypt, speaking the language of Canaan, and swearing by the name of the Lord of hosts. The city of Beth-Shemesh, which is to be destroyed, shall be called one of them.
בְּעִדָנָא הַהִיא יְהֵי מַדְבְּחָא מְתַקֵן קֳדָם יְיָ בְּגוֹ אַרְעָא דְמִצְרַיִם וְקָמְתָא בִּסְטַר תְּחוּמָהּ קֳדָם יְיָ: At that time there shall be prepared an altar before the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt; and a pillar by the border thereof before the Lord.
וִיהֵי לְאָת וּלְסָהִיד קֳדָם יְיָ צְבָאוֹת בְּאַרְעָא דְמִצְרַיִם אֲרֵי יְצַלוּן קֳדָם יְיָ מִן קֳדָם דָחֲקֵיהוֹן וִישַׁלַח לְהוֹן פָּרִיק וְדַיָן וִישֵׁיזְבִינוּן: And it shall be for a sign, and for a witness before the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt, when they shall pray before the Lord because of their oppressors, and He shall send unto them a Saviour, and a Judge, and He shall deliver them.
וְתִתְגְלֵי גְבוּרְתָּא דַייָ לְאוֹטָבָא לְמִצְרָאֵי וְיֵדְעוּן מִצְרָאֵי לְמִדְחַל מִן קֳדָם יְיָ בְּעִדָנָא הַהִיא וְיִפְלְחוּן בְּנִכְסַת קוּדְשִׁין וּבְקוּרְבָּנִין וִינַדְרוּן נִדְרִין קֳדָם יְיָ וִישַׁלְמוּן: And the power of the Lord shall be revealed to do good to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians shall know the fear of the Lord at that time, and they shall worship with holy sacrifices and offerings; yea, they shall vow vows before the Lord, and shall perform them.
וְיִמְחֵי יְיָ יַת מִצְרַיִם מְחָא וְיַסִנוּן וִיתוּבוּן לְפוּלְחָנָא דַייָ וִיקַבֵּל צְלוֹתֵיהוֹן וְיַסֵי יַתְהוֹן: And the Lord shall smite Egypt with a stroke, and shall heal them, and they shall return to the worship of the Lord, and He shall hear their prayers, and shall heal them.
בְּעִדָנָא הַהִיא תְּהֵי אוֹרַח כְבִישָׁא מִמִצְרַיִם לְאַתּוּר וִינוּחוּן אֲתּוּרָאֵי לְמִצְרָאֵי וּמִצְרָאֵי בְּאַתּוּרָאֵי וְיִפְלְחוּן מִצְרָאֵי יַת אַתּוּרָאֵי: And at that time there shall be a highway from Egypt to Assyria; and the Assyrians shall fight against the Egyptians, and the Egyptians against the Assyrians, and the Egyptians shall serve the Assyrians.
בְּעִדָנָא הַהִיא יְהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תְּלִיתָאָה לְמִצְרָאֵי וּלְאַתּוּרָאֵי בִּרְכָא בְּגוֹ דְאַרְעָא: And at that time Israel shall be a third party to the Egyptians and to the Assyrians, a blessing in the midst of the land.
דְבָרְכֵהּ יְיָ צְבָאוֹת לְמֵימָר בְּרִיךְ עַמִי דְאַפְקֵית מִמִצְרַיִם דְעַל דְחָבוּ קֳדָמַי אַגְלֵיתִי יַתְהוֹן לְאַתּוּר וּכְדוּ דְתָבוּ מַתְקְרָן עַמִי וְאַחְסַנְתִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל: Whom the Lord of hosts hath blessed, saying, Blessed be my people, whom I have brought out of Egypt; and because they sinned before me, I carried them captive into Assyria, but when they repent, they are called my people, and Israel mine inheritance.
