ותשקע האש. נגד טבע האש למען יכירו שהיה פלא בלתי טבעי ולא היה אש טבעי שקרה אז באיזו סיבה טבעית: ותשקע האש. This was something supernatural, not compatible with the normal behaviour of fire. Fire rises, does not sink into the earth.
