Od Yosef Chai: Derashot is a 20th-century work by Rabbi Yosef Hayyim – also known as the Ben Ish Chai ֹ– a prominent rabbinic leader in Baghdad. The work, written in the style of the author’s magnum opus, the Ben Ish Chai, includes sermons arranged according to the weekly Torah portion. These sermons consist of Torah commentary that draws on traditional rabbinic sources and kabbalistic teachings. The work was originally published together with its companion volume containing halakhic insights, Od Yosef Chai: Halakhot.
