עקר ᴵ to pluck, root up.
    — Qal - עָקַר v. 1 he plucked, rooted up (a hapax legomenon in the Bible, occurring Eccles. 3:2); 2 he moved, removed; 3 he moved (his residence); 4 he abolished (lit. ‘eradicated’).
    — Niph. - נֶעֱקַר 1 was uprooted (a hapax legomenon in the Bible, occurring Zeph. 2:4); PBH 2 was removed, was destroyed.
    — Pi. - עִקֵּר 1 he hamstrung (horses); PBH 2 he uprooted, cut off.
    — Pu. - עֻקַּר was uprooted, was destroyed.
