The quotes at the start refer to the Mishnaiot indicated by the Halakhah; the text has been placed after the Mishnah to which it belongs. The text in this Halakhah is essentially a copy from Sotah 1:5, Notes 226–232.“Rebbi Eliezer said,” etc. The argument of Rebbi Jehudah seems inverted. There, he says: “If her hair was beautiful, he did not uncover it.” And here, he says so? Here, anyhow she goes to her death, but there, maybe she will be found to be pure and the young priests would attack her. The argument of the rabbis seems inverted.
