VII, 2, v. preced.) דְגָנָהּ דארעא dry Egyptian beans are the bread of the land (Palestine, therefore implied in dagan); (ref. to the Rabbis’ opinion, ib.) דגנה מעבורה ‘its bread’ means its home growth.
