הישימון. מקום שממה והעד ובתהו יליל ישימון וכן תעו במדבר בישימון דרך: UPON THE DESERT. The word yeshimon (desert) means a wasteland (shemamah). And in the waste, a howling wilderness (yeshimon) (Deut. 32:10) is the proof text. So too is They wandered in the wilderness (yeshimon) in a desert way (Ps. 107:4).
