ויהושע בן נון. הזכירו משה בתחלה לגודל מעלתו: AND JOSHUA THE SON OF NUN. Moses mentions Joshua first⁷Even though in the list of the spies, Caleb is mentioned first. See Num. 13:6-8. out of regard for Joshua’s elevated status.
