ואנה - דרך ענוה, כי אין בי חכמה שאוכל לדעת זה הסוד, רק נגלה לי הסוד בעבור כבודך שתדע פתרון חלומך ורעיוני לבבך, שחשבת בתחילת הלילה תדעם. [Daniel 2:30] Va'anah (וַאֲנָה - And I): [Daniel speaks] in the way of humility (derekh ʿanavah - דֶּרֶךְ עֲנָוָה). [Saying effectively:] For there is no wisdom in me that I should be able to know this secret [through my own abilities]. Rather, the secret was revealed to me for the sake of your [the king's] honor (baʿavur k'vodkha - בַּעֲבוּר כְּבוֹדְךָ), [so] that you should know the interpretation (pitron - פִּתְרוֹן) of your dream, and that you should know the thoughts of your heart (raʿyonei levavkha - רַעְיוֹנֵי לְבָבָךְ)—which you thought at the beginning of the night.
ומלת יהודעון - שב אל משרתי השם הנכבד. And the word “they should make known” (yehodoʿun - יְהוֹדְעוּן): [This plural verb] refers back to the servants of the Glorious Name (meshartei ha-Shem ha-nikhbad - מְשָׁרְתֵי הַשֵּׁם הַנִּכְבָּד) [i.e., the angels or heavenly agents, indicating the interpretation comes through divine means, not from Daniel alone].
