אנת - הזכיר מה שעלה על לבו בשכבו, שחשב מה שיהיה אחריו. [Daniel 2:29] Ant malka (אַנְתְּ מַלְכָּא - You, O king): He [Daniel] mentioned what came up upon his [the king's] mind (mah sheʿalah ʿal libbo - מַה שֶׁעָלָה עַל לִבּוֹ) while lying down (bishokhvo - בְּשָׁכְבוֹ), that he [the king] thought about what would be after this (mah sheyihyeh acharav - מַה שֶׁיִּהְיֶה אַחֲרָיו). [Ibn Ezra clarifies that Daniel is referring back to the king's own musings about the future, mentioned in the verse].
